PLEASE READ THROUGH ENTIRE AD FIRST!!!

We have a 2000 Chevy Impala that we have to sell. We bought it used from the Lincoln dealership here in Olympia in 2014. It had been a trade in from an older gentleman who drove up to Canada to buy it BRAND NEW OFF THE SHOW ROOM FLOOR! It has been my husband's work car and the work horse of the family since then. Originally had 88k miles on it. Over the past 6 years, he has put 70k more on it. We are NOT mechanics...we know it has a SLOW oil leak somewhere. Our mechanic monitors it. We know the Power Steering Pump needs to be replaced. We know there is a water leak somewhere (has had ever since we bought it, never has affected the car's drivability). It also has an electrical issue, which could be as simple a fix as a switch, or an instrument cluster panel. The local pull apart place has one for $46. Even with all that, it still runs tip top. We are just not mechanics, and as I, the wife, am facing brain surgery this summer, we can't afford to put any money into this car. We love it, and truly are sad to see it go...it gets awesome gas mileage! My husband miles are primarily freeway miles...50 miles round trip. The tires are only 2.5 years old, brakes are still very good, leather interior NOT ripped anywhere! Heated seats, power seat, driver's side only, cassette player (does have CD player, but that never has worked). We have kept up on maintenance, tabs, and insurance. Color is gold/champagene. Typically small dings, no dents, has been in 2 accidents, but insurance fixed those. Went to Olympia Autobody in 2015. Professionally fixed, and was all cosmetic. Clean title. Would be a great starter car...especially for someone who has car knowledge, or someone who wants to learn. Kelley Blue Book has it listed top end at 1,821. We are asking 1,300 or best offer. It does run, and it does run smooth. Always starts as well. Hopefully can figure out pictures! Okay, can't figure out how to post the pictures, so those are more than available on request. Please, no low ball offers. The tires alone are worth close to $700. I know the car needs work, but overall, someone who knows what they are doing will be getting a good deal. Trust me, I was NOT in favor of selling it, but with surgery looming, I had to make the hard choice to let this go...sigh...
